Kallari Chocolate is an indigenous-owned cooperative from Ecuador’s Amazon, run by hundreds of Kichwa families who grow and produce cacao using traditional, sustainable farming methods. Founded to give local communities more control over their resources and income, Kallari manages the entire process from cacao cultivation to finished chocolate products, mainly organic dark chocolate bars. The organization emphasizes fair trade, environmental protection, and community development, helping preserve the rainforest while providing a stable livelihood for its members.
